Tender cactus grill

Ingredients

 

• 6 nopales chopped into squares and cooked

• 100 g bacon cut into strips

• 1 red pepper chopped into cubes

• 1/2 onion chopped into cubes

• 2 tbsp of oil

• 1/2 tsp salt

• 1/4 tsp pepper

 

Method

 

Heat the oil in a frying pan over high heat and add the onion, let it fry and lower the heat. Add the bacon and cook until browned on all sides.

Stir in the peppers and cook for five minutes, stirring continuously.

Add the nopales, salt and pepper and cook for five more minutes.

Remove from heat and serve. Serve with warm tortillas.
