Pickled Jalapeño Pepper Sauce

Ingredients

 

•1 can of El Charro Negro® brand sliced jalapeño peppers

•2 chopped carrots

•1 sliced onion

•2 tbsp of oil

•2 minced cloves of garlic

•1 cup white vinegar

•1 1/2 cups of water

•1 tbsp of oregano

•2 laurel leaves

•1/2 teaspoon salt

 

 

 

 

 

Method

 

This sauce will be delicious!

Heat the oil in a frying pan. Then, fry the onion slices, carrot and garlic cloves for 3 or 4 minutes, moving the mixture constantly to avoid browning.

 Add the jalapeño peppers to the fried vegetables, to give them the seasoning that characterizes us.

 Pour the water and white vinegar into the pan. Let the sauce boil until it is perfectly cooked. Remember that the vegetables should not be too hard but not too soft either.

Add the oregano, the bay leaves, the salt and move the mixture so that everything is combined.
